Nothing is simpler than this puff pastry pie, styled like a babka, filled with salmon, onions, and cheese. It always makes an impression when it arrives at the table.
Slice the onion. Roll out the first puff pastry and spread half of the soft cheese on top. Add half of the sliced onion and then 5 slices of smoked salmon.
Roll the dough to form a log. Cut the log in half lengthwise, then braid it (visible filling). Repeat the process with the second dough, then combine the two braids to form a crown.
Brush the crown with the egg yolk diluted in a little water so that it is nicely golden. Sprinkle some sesame seeds.
To finish, preheat the oven to 180°C and bake for 40 minutes. It’s ready!
