Mix the butter and brown sugar. Add the egg, then the flour and baking powder. Mix well. Add broken pieces of chocolate to the batter, cocoa powder, and vanilla (powder or seeds from the pod).
Shape the cookies: take a ball of dough and form a small circle. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
To finish, place the shaped cookies on a greased baking sheet. Bake for 12 minutes for soft cookies, or 15 minutes for crispy cookies.
