Chorba is a traditional soup from North Africa and Asia Minor. It consists of vegetables and meat. Here is a quick recipe for chorba that can be prepared and enjoyed with family or friends.
Peel and cut the onion in half. Blend it in the bowl of the blender for 5 seconds on speed 5.
Add the coriander and chopped celery and chop for 7 seconds at speed 6.
Add the olive oil and butter and sauté for 3 minutes at 100°C on speed 1. Set aside.
Brown the boneless meat, cut into 3 cm pieces, in the bowl for 4 minutes at 100°C, in "Reverse" mode, speed 5. Set aside.
Add crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, spices, and meat to the bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Cover with water. Simmer on reverse mode for 40 minutes at 100°C.
Add the chickpeas and simmer again for 5 minutes on "Reverse Mode" at 100°C.
To finish, chop the mint and sprinkle it over the soup before serving.
