Discover these soft financiers with a hint of a delicious brownie! These financiers combine tradition with a subtle cocoa flavor, all enhanced by crunchy nuts. Small, indulgent bites perfect for an afternoon snack!
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Preparation of the dough: Grind the walnuts into a powder using a food processor or blender. Melt the butter over low heat until it takes on a lovely hazelnut color. Stop the cooking by placing the pot in cold water, then strain the butter. In a mixing bowl, whisk the egg whites with the sugar until foamy. Add the flour, walnut powder, cocoa powder, and finally the strained hazelnut butter. Mix well.
Let the dough rest in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
Baking soft financiers Lightly butter the financier molds. Distribute the batter into the molds and bake for 15 minutes.
Serve by unmolding the financiers as soon as they come out of the oven by sliding them onto a rack. Let them cool before enjoying these soft financiers resembling brownies!
