Snow peas are eaten whole, pods and all. They are harvested in early spring. They are simply cooked in boiling salted water.

Ingredients
 300 Sugar snap peas
 Coarse salt
 Sesame seeds

Wash the sugar snap peas.

Dip them in salted boiling water.

Bring to a boil again, then cook for a few minutes.

To finish, drain the sugar snap peas and plunge them into ice water. Serve sprinkled with sesame seeds.
