Pounti is a traditional dish from the Auvergne region. It is a unique dish that can be enjoyed hot or cold.
The day before, soak the pitted prunes in red wine in a container.
In a large bowl, mix the ground pork and the diced bacon. Wash the chard leaves and finely slice them, then add them along with the chopped onions, salt, and pepper.
In a mixing bowl, combine the flour and the beaten eggs. Add the milk, salt, and pepper. Incorporate this mixture into the meat and knead everything together.
Pour the mixture into a deep dish, then add the drained prunes and the cheese cut into large pieces.
Bake in the oven at 200 °C for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Tasting advice: Wait about ten minutes before serving with a green salad and a good glass of wine.
