A pleasant dessert after a hearty meal and very easy to make.
In a saucepan, pour in the wine, add the sugar, cinnamon, and the split vanilla pod. Add pepper and cloves. Bring to a boil and let simmer for 5 minutes.
Peel the pears while keeping them whole with their stems. Immerse them in the syrup and cook gently for 30 minutes. Allow to cool in the syrup.
Place the pears in a serving dish. Remove all the spices from the syrup.
Add the blackcurrant cream to the syrup and mix.
Finally, pour over the pears and refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.
