An indescribable vegan and raw brownie! Melted chocolate, crunchy pecans, and a smooth frosting will make this brownie your new addiction!

Yields12 Servings
Prep Time40 mins
For the brownie
3 cups Pecan nuts, chopped but not too fine, so that some pieces remain.
1 cup Pitted date soaked for two hours
 1 cup Pitted date
 ¾ cup Raw cocoa powder
 1 Vanilla extract
 1 pinch Salt
For the icing
 ¼ cup Melted coconut oil
 ¼ cup Raw cocoa powder
 ½ Vanilla extract
 1 pinch Vanilla
Directions
1

Soak the cup of dates for two hours before starting the recipe. After two hours, drain the water (it can be saved for smoothies) and blend the dates with as little water as possible to make the date paste thick.

2

Blend the pecans but not into a powder! Leave some pieces for a bit of crunch!

3

Cut the cup and a half of dates into small pieces and add them to the pecans, along with the cocoa, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Mix, then add the date puree made with the soaked dates. Mix well (it's better to use your hands!) to ensure the mixture is homogeneous, and place it in a dish, making sure to smooth the top.

4

For the frosting, mix all the ingredients and stir until you achieve a completely smooth and fluid mixture, then pour it over the top of the brownie and spread it evenly.

5

To finish, refrigerate for at least one hour, the longer the better, and... treat your taste buds!

Easy to make, very good recipe. It's the first time I make a vegan and raw "cake" and I'm amazed! Everyone at home loves it! I recommend this recipe. :-D

Title A must-try for those who love to surprise! For my part, I used dried dates, which I cooked for about half an hour in water (it absorbs the juice faster), then I evaporated the cooking water and finally blended it all together. I only added one cup of pecans, but I had to add rice flour to make the dough a compact ball. I then spread it in a small rectangular container. As it dries, the mixture solidifies; you can then cut it into squares and eat them by hand. I can only recommend this recipe!

Well Amazing, until the last moment I thought I wouldn’t get the expected result: and we enjoyed an excellent brownie! Without eggs, milk, or gluten and DELICIOUS. My suggestion: I was out of pecans, so there is one cup of pecans and two cups of cashews.
