Recipe for Grape Jam

Yields6 Servings

If you forgot to remove the seeds like I did, you can take them out at the end of cooking as they will float to the surface. To remove them beforehand, you can boil them without cooking; the seeds will pop, and you can then remove them with a slotted spoon. You can also keep them, as they don't necessarily interfere when eating fresh grapes, and they help to reduce bad cholesterol.

Ingredients
 1 Red grape
 ½ Semolina sugar
 1 Lemon juice
Directions
1

Gently rinse the grapes, then detach them from their stems. Place the fruit in a saucepan with the sugar. Allow to cook over low heat until the sugar fully dissolves, then add the lemon juice. Let it simmer over medium heat for 30 minutes, pour a little jam onto a small plate and let it cool; if it becomes honey-like and gelatinous, it is cooked. Sterilize jars for 15 minutes and fill them.
