 800 Green asparagus (frozen if out of season)
 100 Smoked diced bacon
 1 Organic vegetable broth powder
 1 cup Boiling water
 1 dash Light liquid cream (or 2, according to taste)

Reserve 8 tips of asparagus and cook them in a small steamer basket.

In a saucepan, place the frozen asparagus, half of the smoked bacon, sprinkle with the powdered broth, and add a cup of boiling water. Cover and let simmer for about fifteen minutes.

At the end of cooking, add a splash of liquid cream and blend until you achieve a smooth consistency. Cover and keep warm while preparing the garnish.

In a small, well-heated pan, sauté the remaining bacon until crispy. Add the reserved steamed asparagus tips and sauté them briefly with the bacon.

To finish, serve the soup in glasses and garnish with asparagus tips and bacon bits.

    Excellent! We loved it! The smoked strips pair very well with the asparagus, excellent! My suggestion: Be careful not to over-salt (or not at all) because the strips are already quite salty.
