A chocolate dessert with butter cookies, no bake and easy to make.

Yields4 Servings
Prep Time10 mins
Ingredients
 18 Butter cookie
1 Warm milk (not boiling either)
 200 Extra fine milk chocolate
 50 Milk
 30 Butter in cubes
Directions
1

Soak 6 butter biscuits one at a time in the bowl of warm milk, then place them one by one, side by side, in a rectangular dish (or, like me, in a rectangular pan). I made a rectangle that is 2 biscuits long and 3 biscuits wide.

2

It's up to you to decide whether you prefer a crunchier cake: you should not soak the biscuits too much in milk, or a softer cake: in that case, you should soak them a little more so that they are softer (but be careful, they should not fall apart between your fingers). I prefer it to be a bit soft.

3

Next, melt the chopped chocolate with the butter, being careful not to "burn" the chocolate as it is fragile (you can melt it at 600w in the microwave). Add the 5 cl of warm milk and mix everything well. Spread one third of this preparation over the layer of biscuits.

4

To finish, repeat the process: a second layer of soaked biscuits, a second layer of chocolate, then a third and final layer of soaked biscuits and a third and final layer of chocolate to complete the cake. Place everything in the refrigerator for a day or overnight. Take the cake out at room temperature for about twenty minutes before serving. Enjoy your meal!

This is exactly the recipe I've been making for a long time, and it's always a delight that pleases the whole family. It's true that it’s better with coffee, and even the kids can have some because the taste of the coffee is diluted in the butter and the brown biscuits that I can still find. I believe that everyone in my building makes this recipe, which I gave to my neighbor, who then shared it, and it’s spread from there.

Well, this recipe leaves me perplexed. Too many cookies, not enough liquid chocolate, not soaked enough, I must have made some small mistakes, but even if executed perfectly, the result is just okay.

Indeed, I discovered this cake here in Spain; but there is a variation, the second layer, instead of chocolate, replace it with custard; it's very good too.

Very good recipe and I dip them in coffee and top with chocolate custard by adding cornstarch! Then let it cool in the refrigerator and enjoy as dessert and it's very, very good!!!!!

Very easy to make and a big hit with both kids and adults... Just barely enough chocolate to cover the 3 layers of biscuits, next time I'll take 300 grams of chocolate!!!
