Discover an excellent and easy recipe for a mixed berry tart with mascarpone. This indulgent dessert is perfect for summer. Once you taste it, you'll surely add it to your favorite cake recipe collection.
Before going into the kitchen, make sure you have all your ingredients. Mix the flour in a bowl with the sugar and baking powder. Cut the butter into cubes and mix it into the mixture until you obtain a crumbly dough, then add the eggs while mixing.
Wrap the dough ball in aluminum foil and let it rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Butter and flour a 28 cm diameter pie dish, roll out the dough and once the desired diameter is achieved, line the pie dish with it. Prick the edges and the bottom with a fork, then brush the edges with milk.
Cover with parchment paper and then with rice to prevent the pie crust from puffing up. Bake at 200 °C for 15 minutes, reduce the temperature to 175 °C, and then bake again for 15 minutes without parchment paper.
Prepare the cream: mix the mascarpone cheese with the powdered sugar and the packet of vanilla sugar (if the mixture is too thick, add a little fresh cream).
Remove the pastry from the pie and spread mascarpone cream over it. Top with your choice of previously washed and drained red fruits (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, currants...), then prepare the gelatin to cover the berries.
To finish, enjoy your tart; it will not disappoint you!
