Discover this recipe for baked squash with an egg. Unique, this recipe swaps the traditional ramekin for a squash to create a different kind of baked egg. Promise, it's delicious and easy to make.
Preparation of the squash. Cut the tops off the squash. Remove the seeds by scooping them out. Boil in water for about 20 minutes. Drain.
Preparation of the filling: Cut the bacon into small cubes. In each squash, place 1 tablespoon of crème fraîche. Add 1 tablespoon of smoked bacon, a chicken egg, and cover with the second tablespoon of crème fraîche.
Cooking Season with salt and pepper and sprinkle with a pinch of grated cheese. Bake at 180 °C for 15 minutes (the time may vary according to individual preferences).
Garnishing At the time of serving, present the squash topped with its lid.
