What if Christmas celebrations were centered around a roasted cheese? Accompanied by charcuterie and other appetizers, the cheese will be enhanced. All you have to do is follow this recipe.
Preheat the oven to 200 °C. Make slashes on the cheese. Place it in a ceramic dish and drizzle with honey. Put the lid on and turn on the grill. Grill for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
Serve hot, surrounded by a festive crown of antipasti.
To make the crown: prepare the pickled onions by peeling and finely chopping them, then place them in a bowl. Add a generous pinch of salt and the lemon juice. Mix and set aside for 10 minutes.
Peel the celery and zucchini and place them in a bowl of ice water. Set aside. Heat a pan with a drizzle of olive oil, a little rosemary, and salt. Place the flatbreads in the pan until golden.
Gather all the prepared vegetables, the prosciutto, the salami, and the flatbreads in an oval serving dish. Place the baked cheese in the center of the dish. Garnish with celery leaves and spinach sprouts.
To finish, serve with a chilled white wine.
