I've been wanting to make this treat with a slightly strange name for a while now. In fact, it's a cake that can be made quickly and easily. It takes absolutely no time and is accessible to anyone, even those who are the most novice in the kitchen.
Peel and core the pears. Cut them into cubes. Set aside.
Blanch the eggs with the sugar. Add the flour, cornstarch, milk, and baking powder, then mix well. Add the chocolate sprinkles.
Pour half of the batter into a greased mold if not using silicone. Pour in the remaining batter. Place the pieces of pears. Cover with the rest of the batter. Bake for about 40 minutes (check for doneness with the blade of a knife, continue if necessary). Let cool before unmolding.
For the chocolate ganache, heat the liquid cream in a saucepan. As soon as it reaches a boil, pour the cream over the chopped chocolate in 2 or 3 batches.
When the chocolate is melted, add the butter and mix. Then pour the melted chocolate into the cavity of your log. Decorate with pieces of pears.
To finish, you can use a loaf pan; just pour the ganache over the cake once it is removed from the pan.
