Pumpkin Soup Recipe (Puree, Soup)

Pure joy! Here is a recipe that deserves 10/10, a real treat You have to make it to understand. Finally, a soup that is different from my traditional vegetable soup. A big thank you; this recipe is now a part of my life. My suggestion: 3 cloves of garlic, I should have used only two because the cloves were large, so I found it a bit too spicy; after that, I was quite warm. But nothing serious, I ate it all!

Variant I regularly make this excellent recipe at home, even in hot weather, because my daughter loves it. My suggestion: Instead of potatoes, I use carrots (2/3 pumpkin, 1/3 carrots). The combination of these two vegetables is delicious. I also add a bit of milk or cream to make it all creamier.

Very good I had doubts about this recipe, and in the end, I found this soup very good, even without cream. My suggestion: I just added a bit more leek whites and removed some of the potatoes.

Variant My suggestion: Sauté the roughly chopped pieces of pumpkin for a few minutes in a little broth (chicken broth works well). The flesh will absorb the flavor. Mash the pieces with a wooden spoon or blend to achieve a creamy soup. Add, if desired, a bit of fresh cream or chopped chervil to the bowl.
