 75 Beef broth
 200 Bacon bit
 100 Grated cheese
 2 Onion
 1 Beef broth
 1 Butter

Preparation of ingredients: Peel the potatoes and onions, and wash them. Cut the potatoes into slices and finely chop the onions.

Cooking Sweat the onions in a pan, then add the bacon. Let cook for 10 minutes. Remove any excess fat if necessary. Set aside.

Preparation of the broth Meanwhile, prepare the beef broth by dissolving the beef bouillon cube in water.

Assembly: Butter an ovenproof dish (23 cm x 23 cm). Arrange a layer of potato slices. Add half of the bacon-onion mixture and half of the cheese. Repeat the process once more. Finish with the remaining cheese. Season. Pour the broth to the level of the gratin.

Final cooking Bake for 1 hour in a hot oven at 180°C (thermostat 6). Once cooking is finished, let the dish rest for 15 minutes in the oven with the door closed. Enjoy hot with a green salad.

    Too much broth I don't know if it's my fault, but the potatoes were completely submerged in the broth... My suggestion: Maybe use less broth? 750 milliliters might be too much.
