Still for a cocktail party, a snack, etc... Cookies are popular with both kids and adults! To stick with the peanut theme, I suggest cookies with peanut butter and chocolate candies!
Soften the butter in the microwave. Whip it with the sugars. Add the peanut butter and mix well.
Add the egg to the previous mixture, stir, add the flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda, and mix with a wooden spoon. Finish by adding the chocolate candies, shape into 2 logs of dough, and let rest for 1 hour in the refrigerator.
To finish, cut out rounds of dough, shape into cookies with your hands (use flour if they stick), place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and bake for about twelve minutes at 180°C. Once out of the oven, place them on a cooling rack so they can harden and store them in a tin.
