Homemade strawberry dessert: the best recipe

The chef created peach Melba in honor of the singer in 1894. But the principle applies to strawberries: fruits, vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, sometimes a sauce, and sliced almonds. A treat that is prepared on demand as long as you have vanilla ice cream and whipped cream, homemade or not. So easy and appreciated at the end of a spring meal!

Ingredients
 500 Strawberry per person (about 10 strawberries per person)
 750 vanilla ice cream
 3 Sliced almond

Toast the sliced almonds in a non-stick pan, watching them closely, until they turn golden without burning. You can prepare these toasted almonds well in advance.

Rinse the strawberries under water and dry them on a towel. Remove the stems and set them aside. I suggest smaller varieties, preferably over others, because they are not very large, which avoids the need to cut them.

Just before serving, divide half of the strawberries among the individual cups. Distribute 2 generous scoops of vanilla ice cream in each cup.

To finish, distribute the remaining strawberries and top with a swirl of whipped cream. Sprinkle with toasted almonds and serve immediately.
