A recipe for shortbread cookies.
Pour the flours, sugar, and salt into a mixing bowl. Mix.
Add the softened butter cut into cubes and mix until well incorporated. Add the egg and mix until you can form a ball.
Wrap it in plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Roll out the dough to a thickness of 2 to 3 mm. Cut the dough using a cookie cutter.
Arrange the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush with egg yolk.
Bake for about 10 minutes. The cookies should be golden brown.
