A very simple and quick recipe, full of flavors!
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Make a few slits across each chicken breast (4 or 5) without cutting all the way through so that the pieces remain whole. Cut the smoked bacon into strips. Wash and dry the basil.
Slide the pieces of breast and 2 leaves of basil into each slit. Slice the onions. Place the prepared chicken breasts and the onions in a baking dish. Season with salt, pepper, and drizzle with white wine and then with 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Bake for 20 minutes.
To finish, whisk the remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil with the vinegar and agave syrup or honey, season with salt and pepper. Drizzle over the chicken breasts and serve hot. (Instead of the vinaigrette, a tomato sauce can also be served.) ENJOY YOUR MEAL!
