To try: this exotic pineapple cake recipe.
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Separate and reserve the syrup from the pineapple pieces.
In a mixing bowl, mix the butter and sugar using a spatula, then add the egg yolks and stir.
Mix the sifted flour, almond powder, and baking powder in a small bowl.
Incorporate half of this mixture into the dough.
Whisk the egg whites until stiff and gently fold in.
Add 120 ml of pineapple syrup and the pineapple pieces, then the rest of the flour-almond mixture.
Pour the mixture into a round mold, such as a bundt pan.
To finish, bake for 55 minutes. Let cool and enjoy!
