Preparation of almond cream. Start by preheating your oven to 180°C. Melt the butter and incorporate it with the sugar until a smooth texture is achieved. Then add 100 g of almonds and mix. Incorporate one whole egg along with a packet of vanilla sugar, then mix again until the batter is smooth.
Assembly of the tart Roll out a puff pastry and place it in a 24 cm diameter tart pan. Pour the prepared almond cream over the pastry and spread it evenly. Peel the apples, then slice them thinly, and arrange them harmoniously on the almond cream. Finally, sprinkle the apples with vanilla sugar and slivered almonds.
Baking: Place the pie in the oven and let it bake for 30 to 35 minutes, until the apples are golden and the crust is nice and crispy.
