Discover this Easter hedgehog recipe. Adorable and very delicious! This recipe is a great idea for an original snack for a lovely Easter tea table.
Using a cookie cutter, cut out about ten stars that are about 1 cm thick from the chocolate cake. Cut off a branch from each star to create a flat and straight edge.
Skewer the stars onto a wooden skewer, alternating them in a staggered pattern, with the flat side of the star always facing down. Trim them if necessary at the base. Cut a madeleine in half widthwise and use one half to make the head by sticking it onto the end of the wooden skewer.
In the filled licorice tube, slice two rounds to make the eyes and stick them using a vanilla-flavored food marker. In the braided licorice tube, cut a piece and stick it with the marker to make the nose.
Next, slice the 4 square colored licorice candies without separating them. Place them on either side of the hedgehog as legs.
Finally, decorate the points of the stars by sticking silver sugar pearls on each end, using edible ink.
To finish Tip: Alternate the soft chocolate stars and the original soft stars for a cake that is visually and tastefully very Rock’n’Roll!
