I tested the recipe for the delicious cherry clafoutis. It's a tasty and moist dessert where fresh cherries perfectly combine with a light and sweet batter. A real treat!
Preparation of the ingredients Wash, dry, and stem the cherries. You can leave the pits for more flavor, depending on your preferences.
Preparation of the batter In a bowl, mix the sugar and the eggs until you achieve a smooth mixture. Add the flour and salt, then gradually pour in the milk while mixing to obtain a smooth and fluid batter, similar to pancake batter.
Cooking the clafoutis Preheat the oven to 180°C. Generously butter a deep oven-safe dish. Spread the pitted cherries in the buttered dish. Gently pour the batter over the cherries. Bake the clafoutis for about 40 minutes in the preheated oven. When the clafoutis is golden and slightly jiggly in the center, remove it from the oven and immediately sprinkle a little sugar on top. Let it cool slightly before enjoying this delicious, melting, and fragrant clafoutis.
