During a bike ride, we picked some blackberries with my sweet tooth crew. After tasting a few, I wanted to make a delicious dessert. So here we are with panna cottas topped with a blackberry compote.
Preparation of the cream: Place the gelatin sheets in a bowl of cold water. In a saucepan, heat the milk, cream, 40 g of granulated sugar, and vanilla. Off the heat, add the drained gelatin sheets. Whisk until the sheets are completely dissolved. Pour the resulting cream into 6 small glasses. Let it cool before refrigerating for 24 hours.
Preparation of the blackberry compote: After rinsing the blackberries under a stream of cold water, place them in a saucepan with 40 g of granulated sugar. Heat over medium heat for about ten minutes, stirring occasionally with a wooden spoon. Transfer the compote to a bowl, let it cool, and refrigerate.
To finish, at the time of serving, top each cream with blackberry compote.
