When autumn arrives, we crave sweetness and comfort. This pear and chestnut crumble is the perfect dessert to savor autumn flavors. The combination of juicy pears with melting chestnuts, enhanced by the crunch of the crumble, will delight your taste buds. Easy to make, this recipe elevates simple yet delicious ingredients. Peel the chestnuts (remove the first skin), cook them in boiling water for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove the second skin.
Peel the pears and cut them into small cubes. Place them in individual baking dishes.
In a mixing bowl, work together the butter, brown sugar, flour, and a pinch of salt. Add the roughly crushed chestnuts. Then, work the dough with your fingertips to obtain small pieces and distribute over the pears.
To finish, cook for 15 minutes in an oven at 200°C (thermostat 7). Serve warm.
