Melting cake to share with friends over a good coffee!
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Combine the dry ingredients in a bowl: cornmeal, baking powder, ground almonds.
In a mixing bowl, beat together the softened butter and sugar until the mixture becomes fluffy.
Add the eggs.
Add the dry ingredients.
Add the vanilla extract, the red fruits, and the orange zest.
Pour the mixture into a previously greased dish and bake for 35 to 40 minutes, checking regularly.
Meanwhile, prepare the syrup: bring the water, honey, and orange juice to a boil for a few minutes.
When the cake is baked, gently pour the syrup over it, allowing it to absorb gradually.
To finish, let it cool and when serving, add a glaze made of a few drops of orange juice and water with powdered sugar and decorate with raspberries.
