Recipe for Clafoutis à la Laurent Mariotte

I tested for you this delicious apricot and nougat clafoutis. A soft and melting dessert, where juicy apricots perfectly blend with almond nougat. A true delight!

Ingredients
 15 Apricot
 4 Egg
 100 Light brown sugar
 50 Cornstarch
 30 Almond milk
 1 Butter
 100 Artisanal almond nougat

Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Preparation of the apricots: Wash the apricots, cut them in half, and remove the pit.

Preparation of the mixture In a bowl, beat the eggs with the brown sugar until you achieve a smooth mixture. Add the sifted cornstarch and mix. Gradually add the almond milk and continue mixing.

Assembly of the clafoutis. Generously butter a baking dish. Sprinkle the bottom with sugar. Arrange the halved apricots (or slices). Pour the batter over the fruits, covering them well. Cut the nougat into cubes and distribute them on top of the clafoutis.

Baking Bake for 40 minutes, checking the cooking progress. The dish should be golden and slightly wobbly in the center. Let cool for a few minutes before serving, ideally still a bit warm.
