A recipe for a cake with raisins. A cake for dried fruit lovers made with: raisins, wheat semolina, and vanilla sugar for all your sweet breaks.
Soak the raisins in rum (optional).
Pour the milk into a saucepan, add the butter, vanilla sugar, and powdered sugar. Bring to a boil, sprinkle in the semolina, and whisk vigorously.
Let cook over low heat for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring continuously until the mixture thickens. Remove from heat and let cool.
Break the eggs, beat them into an omelet, and incorporate them into the semolina.
Add the drained raisins and mix well.
To finish, butter a mold, pour in the mixture, and bake in the oven for 30 to 35 minutes at 180°C (thermostat 6).
