The homemade apple galette is a delicious variation of the classic frangipane. This easy-to-make recipe will delight everyone with its autumn flavors. Perfect for a celebration or a family snack, it combines the crispiness of puff pastry and the sweetness of caramelized apples. Simple to prepare with basic ingredients, this galette allows you to revisit a great classic while enjoying the delicious fruits from the orchard.
Peel the apples and cut them into thick slices.
In a very hot skillet, with a knob of butter, cook the apple slices over high heat for 5 minutes. Pour the sugar over the apples and mix.
Roll out the first puff pastry and prick it. Pour in the apples and spread them until 3 cm from the edge. Slide in the bean among the apples.
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Moisten the edge with water, cover with the second pastry, and seal the pastries together.
Score the dough with the tip of a knife and brush with the egg yolk mixed with a tablespoon of milk.
To finish, bake and let cook at 180°C for 30 minutes.
