As the end of year celebrations approach, we start to have specific cravings that correspond to the season. Let's begin with gingerbread; here is a recipe that will bring back childhood memories.

 70 Water
 70 Honey
 30 Sugar
 5 Orange zest
 5 Lemon zest
 ½ clove Vanilla
 70 Flour
 3 Baking soda
 1 pinch Salt
 ½ Baking powder
 45 Butter
 20 Liquid honey
 20 Dried plum

In a saucepan, bring to a boil: water, sugar, honey, vanilla, and spices. Then add the zest of lemons and oranges.

In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and fine salt.

Slowly pour the mixture from the saucepan and the melted butter over the dry ingredients.

Place some prunes at the bottom of the greased mold, then pour the batter over them and bake for 20 minutes in a preheated oven at 180°C.

To finish, after baking, let it cool in the pan. Then unmold and brush the melted honey over the entire surface. Finally, place the candied fruits of your choice in pieces on top.
