Are you looking for a comforting and flavorful dish for dinner? These oven-baked potatoes with a melting filling of mozzarella and ham are a true delight. Easy to prepare, they combine the fluffy texture of roasted potatoes with the creaminess of cheese and the savory flavor of ham.

Yields4 Servings
Ingredients
 4 Potato
 4 Cooked ham
 125 Mozzarella
 Liquid cream (optional)
 Butter
 Salt
 Pepper
Directions
1

Preheat the oven to 200°C (fan setting 6-7). Wash the potatoes and dry them. Wrap each potato in aluminum foil, place them on a baking tray, and cook for about 40 minutes (depending on their size). A knife blade should easily penetrate the center when they are done cooking.

2

Cut the mozzarella into slices and the ham into pieces. Open the aluminum foil, cut the potatoes into three or four without cutting all the way through so that the pieces remain attached at the base.

3

Slide a slice of mozzarella and cooked ham. Season with salt and pepper, and sprinkle a few small pieces of butter on each.

4

Put back in the oven for five minutes. Do not close the aluminum foil.

5

To finish, serve hot, and optionally drizzle each potato with cream.

It's good! However, the cooking time was insufficient!! Knowing that potatoes all have different sizes (small and large...), it led to a significant waste of time with the cooking. I'm a bit disappointed, additionally I made a large hole in all the potatoes to feel the filling of ham and cheese; otherwise, we just eat the potato, which is a shame. On the other hand, it’s a good idea to add the cream at the end!

recipe review My potatoes have been in the oven for 1 hour and 10 minutes, and at the time of serving, they were not cooked. Maybe reconsider the cooking time... My suggestion: Perhaps reconsider the cooking time...

My suggestion: Be careful with the cooking of the potatoes, which may take longer than 40 minutes if the potatoes are large.

Very hearty and very pleasant. My suggestion: I added parsley and garlic on top before putting it back in the oven, and it was excellent. Thank you for this recipe.

Very easy Very easy to make and delicious. My suggestion: Next time, I will switch to a different cut of meat and sprinkle with chives before serving at the table. Thanks anyway, as it is very good!
