Excellent, I just added a little yeast, some bitter almond extract, and once cut, I put the pieces back in the oven to toast the sides! Oops, I almost forgot: I toasted the almonds before incorporating them into the batter!! As you can see, I love things that are crunchy :-)

Very easy recipe for me, I added a bit of oil to help with spreading the dough on the tray... Excellent crunchy treats to which I added some orange zest.

Perfect texture Make a variation with hazelnuts and zest of kaffir lime, a delight! Do not change the proportions or the cooking time.

Perfect with a zest of lemon! I added a zest of lemon to the mixture and put in a little less almond (more economical and lower in calories!) My friend thought I had bought them at a craft market! My suggestion: A great way to make them crunchy: leave them in the oven with the door slightly open until it cools down; they stayed crunchy for more than a week.

Almond Crunch Cookies I make kilos of them every year for my family and friends. I add vanilla and candied oranges. It’s a typically Provençal recipe; I use one I gathered from a Provençal culinary guide.
