Recipe for Apple with Love Spices and Whimsy of the Gods

Wash, peel, and cut the apples. Pour the wine into a small saucepan, add the spices and honey, and heat gently.

Place the apples in the spiced warm wine and let simmer over low heat for about 30 minutes (adapt according to the ripeness of the fruit). Turn the apples regularly. When the apples are cooked, drain them and let them cool before serving.

In a hot skillet, toast the sliced almonds until golden.

Place a slice of cheese on each heart-shaped biscuit.

To finish, place the cooked apples cut in half or into quarters in a deep plate (the white inside will look very nice with the rosy color of the outside). Add the cookies and sliced almonds. Use the star anise and cinnamon stick as decoration in the plate.
