 4 Tomato
 3 Mozzarella

Preparation of the vegetables: Wash the eggplants and tomatoes, and cut them into slices about 1 cm thick, as well as the cheeses.

Cooking Preheat the oven grill. Place paper on the baking sheet and arrange the slices of eggplant on it. Place the sheet at the top of the oven under the grill and cook for a few minutes (keep an eye on the cooking). When the eggplants are lightly golden, remove them from the oven.

Assembly In a baking dish, place 1 slice of eggplant, then 1 slice of tomato on top, followed by 1 slice of mozzarella, repeating until all ingredients are used. Sprinkle with salt and drizzle with olive oil, then top with breadcrumbs.

Baking Place the dish in the center of the oven and let it cook for 15 minutes at 180°C.

Optional Serving: blend the ingredients listed as "optional" and pour the resulting sauce over the cooked eggplants. Wait 10 minutes and serve.

    Good A bit bland. It needs to be spiced up more, for my taste. My suggestion: To make it quicker, use grilled and frozen eggplants and canned tomato puree. Layer in the dish (eggplants, tomatoes, ham, cheese) and drizzle with olive oil, along with a bit of butter, garlic, and parsley.

    Well... This recipe is indeed easy, but the result is not great: it's dry and bland. My suggestion: Maybe add some cream?
