Enjoy these 12 chocolate Christmas cookies. A recipe that I often make during the holiday season and that gets devoured in no time. You can add a bit of cinnamon or a spice mix.
Mix all the ingredients in the bowl of your food processor until a ball of dough forms. Lightly flour and wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for 40 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Flour the work surface, roll out the dough, and use a cookie cutter for the desired shape. Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 11 minutes. Let cool.
Finally, mix the powdered sugar with a bit of water or lemon juice until you achieve a semi-liquid consistency (not too runny, just enough so that it doesn’t drip). Fill a piping bag with a very fine tip. Outline each cookie and let the icing harden.
