A spiced bread with candied fruits to celebrate the beginning of the festive season; we love it at home. A great classic for Christmas snacks.
Preheat the oven to 170°. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and candied fruit.
Melt the butter with the honey. Pour the eggs and brown sugar into a bowl. Mix until you get a frothy mixture.
Add the milk, honey, and melted butter, along with the spices. Mix everything well; if necessary, use a mixer. Add the flour/candied fruit mixture and whisk gently until the batter becomes smooth.
Grease and flour a loaf pan if it is not silicone and pour the mixture into it. Bake for about 50 minutes depending on your oven. Once out of the oven, let cool slightly before unmolding.
Finally, let it cool to room temperature. Then wrap it in a clean cloth. It is better after 24 hours or more.
