PERFECT!!! Very good recipe, despite what some ill-intentioned people may say... One must keep up with the times, and as I approach my sixties, I say THANK YOU!!!

Potatoes in foil Very good recipe My suggestion: Response to Marlène: To save time, you can cook the potatoes in the microwave by wrapping them in plastic wrap. They remain tender, but be sure to adjust the cooking time and power level according to your microwave.

Response to Jean I enjoyed these potatoes at a restaurant and searched for the recipe online with the title: potatoes in parchment. Every country has this kind of recipe. The baked potatoes are made with sour cream or cottage cheese. See the recipe on this site.

Just as good on the barbecue I have been making this recipe for a long time but without the sauce, and it is truly a delight. My suggestion: There's no need to wrap the potatoes in aluminum foil. I place them directly on the bottom of the oven, about 15 to 20 minutes on each side, and it's great!

The cheese filling is very good. I replaced the chervil with chives and wild garlic (picked in the forest). However, the whole baked potato was slightly less successful because it was bland. My suggestion: Next time, I will cut the potato in half, salt it, and add some herbs before wrapping it in aluminum foil. Now that nice days are coming, instead of putting them in the oven, we can place them on the coals of a barbecue for about 30 minutes. Serve it all at the table with the filling.
