A very simple tart to make, just to enjoy the apricots.

Yields6 Servings
Ingredients
 3 Apricot jam
 3 Sugar
 800 Apricot
Directions
1

Preheat the oven to 200°C. Prick the pastry. Spread the pastry in a dish. Clean the apricots and cut them in half. Spread the apricot jam on the pastry.

2

To finish, place the apricots, rounded side down, on the dough. This is important to prevent the juice from the apricots from soaking the dough. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake for about 35 minutes.

Delicious recipe. I sprinkle a thin layer of polenta (very fine cornmeal) on the dough before placing the apricots to absorb the juice and prevent the dough from getting soggy. I do the same when I make a zucchini tart and with any fruits or vegetables that can release water or juice.

The best is the recipe that preserves the taste of the apricot the best: sweet with a little hint of acidity that stands out, I really like it, thank you. My suggestion: nothing to add, except to ensure that the crust is well cooked underneath; if necessary, place the pan on the lower rack towards the end of cooking.

A great and easy start in baking. Not for a diet, but very good!!! My suggestion: I am a beginner in baking and I succeeded. So it's easy and delicious.

Excellent but... It is an excellent tart, but unfortunately, the juice still soaked the crust and it was impossible to eat it properly. I also find that the apricots are not held together enough, (like other fruit tarts do). My suggestion: I will make this tart again with a thicker crust, like a pie.
